The Central Arizona
Railroad Club serves the Quad City region (Prescott,
Chino Valley & Dewey-Humboldt) of central Arizona.
does not have a layout but serves as an information and

Many members have home layouts representing all the popular
gauges. The club meets on the second Wednesday each
7:00PM with a business meeting normally followed by a model,
or local railroad historical presentation. The meeting is
6:30 with some social time and a mini swap meet.
In addition to the
meetings, the Club sponsors home layout open houses and
(annual picnic and Christmas dinner) open to members and
guests. The Beat the Heat Swap Meet, the largest in
Arizona, is held on the third Saturday of August near
and typically has over 90 sales tables. Operating
