New Waterford to south bar of Sydney Harbour - 3 miles and Victoria to New Victoria - 1¼ miles. Railway opened in 1870, mine closed 1879 and reopened on 4 Mar 1883 by the Low Point, Barrasois and Lingan Mining Company, subsidiary of General Mining Association. In 1883 the railway was extended to a new mine at New Victoria. It was acquired by the Dominion Coal Company on 1 mar 1894 and the mine closed and railway abandoned in February 1898.
