Canadian National #15707 was built by English Electric in 1928 as National Harbours Board (Montreal) tower car 44. She had a Leyland 6-cylinder gas engine. CN purchased her in 1941 (along with 9 EE box cab electrics) and numbered her 15707. She was rebuilt in 1950 with a GM 6-71 6-cylinder diesel engine--renumbered 707--and transferred to the St. Clair Tunnel operation. She was used to take down the wire in 1959 then went back to CN as 15707 and was used to take down wires on CN electric lines abandoned in the 1960s. She was retired in 1968 and scrapped.
