The Carolinas Association for Passenger Trains will meet in Greensboro, N.C. on February 12, 2011. The meeting will be held in the National Railway Historical Society meeting room at 234-B East Washington St., Greensboro, NC. It is the former R.E.A. building just west of the Greensboro Amtrak station. Amtrak train 73 (Piedmont) is due to arrive in Greensboro at 8:23 a.m. Train 80 (Carolinian) is due to arrive at 9:07 a.m. For those who are driving, there's some parking on the "upper level" in front of the building, and almost unlimited parking on the lower level.

We'll gather in the station. When the trains have arrived, we'll move to the meeting room to start the meeting. If the meeting hasn't finished by lunchtime, it'll be moved to Liberty Oak Restaurant & Bar at 11:30 a.m. for continuation. Regardless, lunch will be at the Liberty Oak.

The meeting and lunch are timed to allow attendees to catch train 74 at 2:06 p.m. or 75 at 1:23 p.m. to go back home.
