Our Mission...
The
Columbus Area Railroad Club is dedicated to serving all those interested in the
preservation of railroad history through the use of modeling, photography,
artifact preservation, and railfanning. The club was formed in 1994 and
moved into our current home in December of 1998.
The Columbus Area Railroad
Club room is located
on the grounds of the Johnson County Park and features operating model train
layouts in N, HO, and G gauges. Plus, you will be treated to ever
changing displays of railroad photography and railroad artifacts. There
is also a children's play area where little hands can get their first taste of
railroading.

Notice!
We
are sorry to report that due to renovation of the clubhouse, all open house
dates have been cancelled for the remainder of 2009 and likely the first
several months of 2010.
