  • Cairo #3 - Purchased new. Originally numbered Cairo Railroad #1, renumbered #3. Originally named "Alfred Van Santvoord," renamed "Charles T. Van Santvoord" in 1911. Out of service 1911. Cannibalized for parts, scrapped.
  • CM Ry. #4 (1st) - Purchased new. Damaged in shop fire at Catskill Landing, 1908. Scrapped.
  • CM Ry. #4 (2nd) - Purchased new. On final roster, stored at Catskill Landing. Sold by Railway Equipment Co., 1920, to Oak Grove and Georgetown Railroad of Alabama.
  • CM Ry. #5 - Purchased new. On final roster, stored at Catskill Landing. Sold by Railway Equipment Co., 1920, to Oak Grove and Georgetown Railroad of Alabama.
  • C&T Ry. #1 (1st) - Purchased secondhand 1899. Retired 1907. Boiler installed in Catskill Mountain House.
  • C&T Ry. #1 (2nd) - Purchased new. On final roster. Shipped to Hoisting Machinery Co., Townley, NJ, 1919. Sold to Birmingham Rail & Locomotive Co., 1924, for $1,750. Sold to Bellevue & Cascade #3, then to CMSt.P&P #2. 
  • C&T Ry. #2 (1st) - Built for Crown Point Iron Company. Rebuilt by Baldwin. Sold to Kaaterskill Railroad 1893. Purchased 1899. Retired. Used as an auxilliary steam boiler for Otis Elevating Railway, 1908.
  • C&T Ry. #2 (2nd) - Purchased new. On final roster. Shipped to Hoisting Machinery Co., Townley, NJ, 1919. Sold to Birmingham Rail & Locomotive Co., 1924, for $1,750. Sold to Bellevue & Cascade #2, then to CMSt.P&P #3. 

Catskill Mountain Railway #1

#1 at Catskill Landing in 1883, in her as-delivered appearance. Note the "CMRR" on the tender, the railroad didn't become the Catskill Mountain Railway until June, 1885.

#1 after she received her straight stack and had been relettered for the "Catskill Mountain Railway."
#1 as she appeared in later years. She received extensive changes in John Driscoll's shop of the years: a new boiler, rounded domes, straight stack, a new headlight, a steel cab, and relief numbers and letters on the cab and tender.

  • Twelve passenger cars and three baggage cars were sold to the National Railways of Mexico in April, 1920. Three C&T coaches at Laurel House Station were sold for $2,150 to a South American Buyer in September, 1919.

  • Certain unidentified freight cars were sold to North State Lumber Co. on July 30, 1924 for $225. Flat Cars #1, 2, and 3 and Caboose #12 were still at the Point in 1922.
  • Caboose #12 was converted from a boxcar.
  • All Otis cars were equipped with Eames Vacuum and N.Y. Air Brake equipment so that they could run on either C&T or CM Ry. trains.
