COLLECTING AND RUNNING S-GAUGE TRAINS
AMERICAN FLYER
AND OTHER S-GAUGE TRAINS

Since I was two and a half years old I have been mesmorised by the sight of an electric train running on tracks. It was that wonderful christmas morning when my parents did the unthinkable, they bought me, or santa brought me, a Lionel train set. From that moment on I was trapped in the wonderful, incredible, world of toy trains. Forty years later I am still trapped in that very same world. Today my dream is to share this world with every person that i can. I live in Dayton,Ohio now, birthplace of aviation. My goal is to have Dayton become the birthplace of a great toy train playland. Not a museum ,but a toyland where grownups and kids alike can watch and play with toy trains of all kinds. A place where nobody has to pay anything to get in to see the trains. Every year at Christmas, my wife Beth and I Build a layout that has grow bigger and better every year since we have been married in 1993. We have an open house and invite all our friends, neighbors and relatives over to see the layout. We have a lot of buying to do over the next several years to have enough trains build the display, but with time and some donations of old trains we hope to reach our goal. The next project will be to find a good location in downtown Dayton to host our Toy Train Playland. Until that time we are finishing our third floorroom (20"x 18') to house TTP. I hope you enjoy the pictures that follow. As we grow and expand we will update our web page. Please visit often and write us with your comments and suggestions. If you have any old trains that you would like to donate please contact me and I will be glad to pay postage and any cost to send them to us. We aren't looking for gems, just some trains that are repairable and runnable. Thanks and enjoy
