RMT
Club Cars – 4 Car Sets
Pete Palma spoke to Walt from RMT (Ready-Made Toys, the company who makes the Beeps and Buddys) about making us Hopper Cars. This was discussed at the last Business Meeting, where they were presented as a 2-pack for $38, with a min. order of 100 2-packs (200 cars = $3800). Questions were asked regarding the trucks (metal or plastic), which have been determined to be metal. It was also asked if we could do 4-packs of cars, there would be an additional $80 to print 4 different car numbers and would cost us $75 per 4-pack, with a min. order of 75 4-packs (300 cars = $5625). This topic ‘’will be discussed further at the June Business Meeting.
The
Twin-Forks division of the NRHS (National Railway Historical Society) is running
a Catskill Mountains Railroad and Delaware and Ulster Railroad trip on June 23rd.
They will also be stopping at the Empire State Railroad Museum (Phoenicia, NY)
and the Roxbury Railroad Station Museum. Tickets are $65 per person. Further

Change in Raffle Train Set
As
most of you are aware, a few months ago we purchased the Lionel Thomas and
Friends train set for our holiday raffle. However, the Board of Directors has
decided to purchase the Lionel Hogwarts Express (from the Harry Potter movies)
as the latest movie will be out soon and we can capitalize on the movie sales
to sell more raffle tickets. We will save the Lionel Thomas and Friends train
set for next year’s raffle.
