Amtrak Capitol Limited - This train consists of five Walthers
Heritage Cars (in order on top pic: 73' Baggage Phase II, Coach
Phase III, Grill Diner Phase II, Lounge Phase III and Sleeper Phase
III). I also have a scratchbuilt shorty baggage car in Phase I
scheme, barely visible on the left of the top photo. These
cars came with lots of road numbers and names to make any car you
want. My sleeper is Pine Beach and my lounge is Paul
Revere. The others just have appropriate road numbers.
Each car comes with metal wheels and run very smoothly. I have
a 1982 photo of the Capitol Limited on the Harpers Ferry
bridge. This consist is perfect match to that photo with one
exception, instead of a second coach, I have the lounge car. I
don't have the locomotive yet, but will get that soon.
Walthers makes a good one of those too.
