Scale Trains Florida East Coast (FEC) Boxcars: This small
class saw a surprising amount of action on the East End. A careful
look will show that all the blue and 5015 are combination door
boxcars (one sliding and one plug door). Those cars were in
auto parts service out of Martinsburg, WV. The blue ones
actually had a stencil that read "When Empty Return to B&O Agent
Martinsburg, W. Va.". I had those decals custom made. I
used the Herald King regular boxcar set for 5015. I used the
CMR set for 5034 and 5037 which are insulated boxcars.
5001-5030 were regular boxcars, 5031-38 were insulated boxcars,
5039-46 were regular boxcars and 5053-56 were insulated boxcars.
