NAtower Fruit Exchange, Martinsburg, West Virginia
This brick warehouse type building was used in Marintsburg for decades as a fruit exchange for local farmers.  It allowed them to get their fruit to market.  Primarily the fruits were apples, but peaches, pears and paw paws were also exchanged.  Located right behind NA Tower was a fairly common structure in photographs.  It also seems to be located near the tracks, but I'm not sure if it was ever close enough to get rail service.  I also think the exchange was closed in the 1970s, but for me, I wanted to model it as it was still in use in 1982.  The building was razed in 2021 and is just a vacant lot now.

I made this building from N-scale Architects styrene brick sheet.  It is a sandwich of the sheets with styrene strips in between for rigidity.  The floor is Northeastern Scale Lumber.  The roof is sheet styrene underneath with styrene shingle sheet on top.

Below is a shot of the real Fruit Exchange.
