North Branch...
Below is the module for the North Branch. The
Concrete Wall module attaches to the left of this piece and the Mexico
module attaches to the right.
The North Branch is another landmark on the East End.
Here the B&O main line passes over the C&O Canal, which it did
before exiting the tunnel at Harper's Ferry. It also passes under
the old WM main line. At this same point, as well, is the Pittsburg
Plate Glass factory and Kelly Springfield Tire Distributor. These
facilities are some of the only industries on the main line. So much
traffic on the East End runs from one end to another, that there is very
little stopping in the middle to service an industry. These two are
an exception to that rule.
