LOCOMOTIVES

The WE&H rostered a number of locomotives on the old layout.  Most were third hand acquisitions that never really served the road well.  The plan going forward is to add some high quality power to the new WE&H.

Here are some shots of the old roster of locomotives.

The WE&H rostered two old 500hp Hustler Switchers.  Both ran for many years in different versions of the WE&H paint scheme.  Both have been retired.

The WE&H rostered one trolley, #19.  It has since been retired.  In the background is seen the original WE&H locomotive, Trainmaster #183.  It too has been retired.

The first acquisition of second generation power was this GP20, #56.  It unfortunately suffered a major mechanical failure and has been retired.

The only covered wagon on the roster was #165, an old F7 that served the WE&H well for many years.  It ran its last days, and has been retired.
