Beaumont Hill Trip 4/20/2013

by Chris Guenzler

Bill Compton picked me up at 6:10 AM and we headed out to Redlands. From the Interstate 10 Freeway we saw that the Nevada Street wig wag on the old Santa Fe Redland branch was gone. We exited at Orange Street and went to the Santa Fe Redlands Station.

It has oranges and Santa Fe on the building. From here we went over to San Timiteo Canyon where after the second crossing on the former Southern Pacific Railroad tracks we spotted our first train on the day.
