Our next stop was the Las Animas Live Steamers but we had to pull off the highway on the way.

This Southern Pacific switch stand is from Dyer in my home town of Santa Ana. We thanked Andy for the tour and stopped at Burger King in Durango to pick up dinner to go then started the drive to Pagosa Springs.
