Colfax Railroad Museum 8/08/2009

by Chris Guenzler

I drove into Colfax and saw the ex Soo Line Mainline and then spotted the reason I drove into this town.

The Colfax Railroad Museum is housed in this ex Soo Line Sandstone Station Building in Colfax, Wisconsin. The museum was closed when I arrived but through the windows I could see the large collection of lanterns and railroad china that they have collected through the years. I will now start my outside picture taking as the thunder claps could be heard.

A caboose on display west of the station building.

Part of the exhibits are under cover.
