The 3:00 PM Train leaves Spooner for Springbrook.

Out along Highway 63 I caught the train again. I next drove out to Springbrook for my final pictures of this railroad.

The F unit was used to move the tank cars onto this railroad for storage.

The Drive to Crandon

From Springbrook I drove down US Highway 53 south to Cameron where I turned east onto US Highway 8 for my trip to Crandon.

The former Soo Line Station at Weyerhaeuser. When I got to Ladysmith I noticed something to the south along Wisconsin Highway 27 and made a stop.

Soo Line 998. I drove back onto US Highway 8 and found my next thing in Ladysmith.

The former Soo Line Station at Ladysmith. I drove east stopping at Hardees in Rhinelander before driving the final miles to Crandon. I gassed up the rental car prior to checking into the Best Western Crandon Inn for the night.
