Bob got an idea about going down to Edmonds and take pictures of the Empire Builder. We drove down there but parking was going to be a problem so I had Bob drop me off and I walked down the beach to a photo location up in the rocks where I waited for a train to appear.

Two views along the Puget Sound. Now we waited for a late running eastbound Empire Builder. It made a long station stop in Edmonds but soon it came our way.
The Empire Builder running Seattle only to Havre, Montana with the Amtrak 156 on the point. Bob and I walked back to the car and headed home for the rest of the evening.
