Richard and I on our way to Winterail decided to go via Tehachaphi since Richard had never gone there. We spent the night before at the Motel 6 in Mojave and headed west on CA 58 the next morning. 3/13/04
We drove to Sand Canyon Road where we exited for this view of the BNSF eastbound curving out of Monolith.

BN 5424 West came into Walong and meets UP 4019 on the loop.
BNSF 4160 climbs the loop with a Soo Line helper.
BNSF 4005 East climbs the loop.
From there we went to Bealvile.

BNSF 1061 East at Tunnel 2 and onto Bealville. This completes our visit to Tehachaphi for this trip.
