AC Adam and I decided to use the Friday Metrolink after Thanksgiving Weekend Pass. I bought mine Monday morning and planned the trip out.
The Metrolink Weekend Pass. On Friday morning I got up early and drove down to the Santa Ana train station and parked my Geo Metro. After a few Sudoku puzzles I saw the headlight coming south down the track towards me.
Metrolink 803 came into Santa Ana and I boarded the second coach. I rode down to Oceanside. There I detrained for a picture.
Metrolink 850 would now take AC Adam who found me and we boarded the train for Riverside. We had a good trip and soon we arrived into Riverside.

BNSF 7904 East raced through Riverside. We relocated to the west end of the platform.

A westbound BNSF freight came through Riverside just as we started to move towards San Bernardino. When we arrived into San Bernardino where I spotted one of Metrolink Bike Cars.

Metrolink 800 is now Metrolink 813 for Los Angeles.

Metrolink 116 now ready to take us back to LAUPT. There we walked over to Metrolink 686 for Santa Ana for me and Irvine for AC Adam.
Amtrak 406 at 8th Street. I detrained at Santa Ana and AC Adam detrained at Irvine. He took Metrolink 604 back to Oceanside. Total mileage for our $10 Weekend Pass on this Friday was 354.2 rail miles. It had been a great day of train riding aboard Metrolink.
