Cooke Road
Cooke Road is located on the North side of Columbus off Indianola Ave. Here you will find the single track CSX Columbus Line (milepost 132.6) and the double track Norfolk Southern Sandusky Line (milepost 6). There more rail fans here than any other location in the city.
Exit on Cooke Road from I-71 - this would be north of downtown between the North Broadway and Morse Road exits. Once off the freeway head west under the RR underpasses and you will come to a light at Indianola - turn right. As soon as you turn right there will be a road to the right that comes up to a grade crossing over the CSX and NS mains - this is old Cooke Road.
