Conrail 1 - Observation Car
Amtrak Private Car # - 800221

Built in 1927 as a 12-1 drawing sleeper named Shannon.  Throughout its history, the car changed names many times.  In 1964 the car became Office Car 10 for the Southern Railway.  The car was renumbered to Southern 3.  In 1982 Conrail purchased the car for use on it's OCS. Conrail 1 was assigned to Ron Conway and Gary Spiegel. Norfolk Southern has since renumbered the car and continues to use it on its Office Car Specials.
