Units #9300-9303 (DRF-60a) were built by GMD in 1998, and delivered to CP in the CPR Beaver paint scheme, with red & white dashed frame stripes. The original order was for 20 units, but this was reduced to only 4. These units have a 16 cylinder 16-265H engine generating 6,000 Hp., the most powerful locomotives on Canadian Pacific as to date.

All 4 units were tied up at Winnipeg, MB., with their fuel tanks drained and all of CPR's cab amenties removed. Both #9300 and #9301 are in need of new main generators, while #9302 and #9303 had no problems reported. All 4 units were retired on November 20, 2008, and sold to RB recycling, Montreal, QC. on December 16, 2010.
