Notes : Built by GMD as GP9 #8670 (1957). Rebuilt by CP as GP9u, chop-nosed and renumbered to #1609 (1985). Equipped with CANAC remote control 'beltpack' equipment. Mated with Slug #1016. Retired (9/26/2012). Sent to SRY, New Westminster B.C., for parts salvage and scrapping.
