Notes : Built by GMD as GP9 #8701 (1957). Rebuilt by CP as GP9u, chop-nosed and renumbered to #1628 (1986). Equipped with CANAC remote control 'beltpack' equipment. Mated with Slug #1021. Retired (10/25/2012). Moved to SRY, New Westminster, B.C., for dismantling and scrapping.
