Notes : Built by EMD as Illinois Central GP40 #3130 (9/1968), then to CR #3130, then to KCS #760. Sold to Morrison Knudsen, became MKCX #760. Rebuilt by MK to GP38-3 specifications. Acquired by Dakota, Minnesota & Eastern (9/1996) and renumbered to DME #3831. Named "City of Cavour". Aquired by Rapid City, Pierre & Eastern when CP sold the western portion of the DM&E in 2014 to Gennessee & Wyoming, became RCPE #3831, then to RCPE #2086.
