Too Cool for Trains?

This is a collection of some of the photos I take that are not directly train related. It just so happens that most are tied with something I did trackside or whatever! Have a look though, there is something here for all.

Helicopter at the Marathon Airport

This was a road kill near White River, Ontario

Another good day of railfanning with the sunset from MP63

These two photographs are from a -30C day at Jellico Cove on Peninsula Bay.

Eitzen Chemical (Singapore) Pte Ltd operates several chemical boats, which deliver Caustic Soda to Marathon Pulp. These photographs are of the Songa Defiance and the Songa Maya which both discharged cargo in Marathon in 2006.

I Model Trains!

This fox was hanging out along the railway tracks in Marathon, Ontario

A LTL truck passes through Neys on the Trans Canada Highway #17, below is the Canadian Pacific Railway, and Lake Superior.

This is the mess I deal with daily at Extra Foods. We have items all over the back!

The ice cold waters of Lake Superior, at Pebbles Beach in Marathon, Ontario

Going GTing in the winter is always fun, that is until the municipal bylaw officer pulls up to halt our enjoyment!

I really enjoy my Moose meat!

On a cold December afternoon, I went outside to take some shots of the sunset over the steam rising from Marathon Pulp.

The Anglican Lady and barge PML 9000 bring 22000 gallons of Bunker C oil to Marathon Pulp from Sarnia, Ontario across Lake Superior

Some lightning going down near the Mink Creek Harbour area.

This is the scene from Highway 17 just before New Years 2006 at Neys, Ontario.

Perhaps you have heard, Rotten Ronnies drive thru is now for trains too, you order just 2 miles away and its reheated!

Something I haven't seen in a long time, the Microwave towers at Wolf Camp were frosted right up.

This is the Pop Backstock where I work. What is your brand? There is even PC Lager!!!!

This is the road that leads to Wawatay Generating station on the black river near Pic River, Ontario.
