Brenham
Brenham was the location of the last 2 wigwags in the state of Texas. They were finally removed on October 7th, 2005. These 2 wigwags were on a BNSF industrial spur that runs through town. Both were fairly typical Santa Fe installations with short cantilever and crossbuck mounted above the cantilever.

According to Jerry Dorcz,  (Vice-President, Membership Gulf Coast Chapter, NRHS, Inc.) both wigwags  will be preserved at the Houston Gulf Coast Railroad Museum in Houston. Jerry sends us photos of the two wigwags during the removal process...
