Simonian Farms
Fresno

Simonian Farms is located in southeast Fresno at Jensen and Clovis Aves. They sell dried fruits, nuts, and produce. The Simonian family has also preserved many artifacts from the farm growth era around Fresno, including old tractors, wagons, and a steam shovel. Other railroad collectables include switchstands, crossbucks, and a semaphore. They have had this wigwag in their possession for the last year or two, and it probably came from the ex-ATSF branch that ran from Visalia to Reedley. (We're not sure of this, but it is definitely a former ATSF wigwag, and many wigwags were recently removed from that now abandoned branch) Ernest adds that when President Clinton stopped there a couple of years back he wanted to see the overhead train run!  - Ernest Sanchez, 1999

Update 2017:
Simonian Farms has added more stuff to their collection, including the O Street wigwag from Fresno that was retired in 2011.
Scott Thomas contributes some updated photos of the collection.

This is the one they've had in their collection since the late
90s. It's a former Santa Fe wigwag, likely from the Visalia area.

And the former SP wigwag from O Street in Fresno. This one was retired in 2011.
Some add-ons have since been installed, including lights, a crossbuck, and even
two crossing gate motors! No idea why.
