Although Southern Pacific was most famous for using
wigwags in the West, Western Pacific also used a few on their line.
Here is a rather unique wigwag that was located in Oakland, Ca. This was
taken along WP's 3rd St. - street trackage that was later pulled up by
UP during the late 90's - result of the UP/SP merger. This wigwag lasted
into the 80's.
