Visible amongst other things are the Ice Scraper, the Short Circuiting Device and shoe paddles. What appears to be a green bag located in the top of the door is a Carry Sheet; this would be used should it be necessary to detrain a disabled or injured person via the 'M' Door (the one in the front of the cab) in an emergency. To the right of the shoe paddles and above the fire extinguisher can be seen what are called 'Presspahn Shields'. These are used in some circumstances where it is necessary to couple two trains together, and they keep the two trains electrically isolated.
