Uxbridge Centenarian

You may recall that on the 4th July 2004 the Uxbridge branch of the Metropolitan line celebrated its Centenary, and as part of the celebrations the London Transport's Museum 1938 Tube Stock unit carried out some special trips.

Sadly, I wasn't able to attend myself, but I'm pleased to say that I've received two batches of photographs recording the event.

The first of these, submitted by Tim Healy, appears below. My thanks to Tim for allowing me to reproduce these.

Thomas Crame must have had a busy day, chasing the unit around the various locations it visited! The following gallery captures the unit in many areas it never visited whilst in its original service life.
