  • Only 5 built, as part of a joint venture with the UP. The number of cars built were based on revenue and total route miles.
  • UP had 95 cars built in the 100 car order.
  • These cars were part of a unit coal train on the Rio Grande's Sunnyside branch in Utah and ran to Kaiser Steel in Fontaine, California.
