Officially retired in October 1985, A-8 Class #4504 entered the TTC's Harvey shops on March 17, 1986 as a test unit for the heavy rebuild program TTC planned for a number of the PCC's. It emerged on September 19, 1986 as Class A-15 #4600 (second) in the CLRV red-grey-black livery. It was later donated to the Halton County Radial Railway museum after being repainted back to the more familiar red and cream TTC fleet colours.
