Built in 1927 by the St. Louis Car Co. for the Northern Texas Traction Co. of Fort Worth, Texas, it was acquired by Cornwall in 1939 and became #31 in the fleet. Later the car was damaged by fire and was then rebuilt as track maintenance car #4.

The City of Cornwall apparently had planned to preserve this car following its retirement at the end of electric operations in Cornwall. Storing the car behind the City Transit building, the skeletal remains sat there for years before suddenly disappearing, possibly to scrap.
