Nefasit

Nefasit suffered a great deal from 30 years of war.  Jerry Pry's picture shows the vilage about 1950.

Picture is from unknown source and age. If you know the source, please let me know. If you look at the center, about 2/3 the way up, there is a curve coming between the two hills...it looks like this is a cut.  It gous behind the buildings and then curves out between a tree and a tan building about 1/3 from the right near the middle.  I believe this is the railway.

Here, we have a picture of Nefasit from near my day.   The railway curves at the center right.  It goes in front of a building which may be the station.  It then comes back into the picture from the right about 1/3 up.  It crosses the road in front of the the two story building about 1/3 from the right.  I believe this is the grade crossing mentionend in Africa Orientale Italiana.
