Renato Gaudio
Renato Gaudio
Renato (right) visited me (left) in early April 2000. He has
been the source of a great deal of material on the Eritrean Railway and
in particular the Littorine. He works for a division of FIAT in Torino.
His father used to take him to see the standard gauge Littorine in Italy.
He and I were born a week apart. We have a lot of common likes and
dislikes. Astrologers would have a field day with us. I need
only remind them that Hank Aaron's birthday is the day after mine and Babe
Ruth's the day before. I was last chosen on sandlot baseball because
I could never hit the blamed thing.
Renato attended the Fiat Centeniary Exposition
earlier and sent me some pictures.
Renato Gaudio has some pictures of Eritrean Railcars on his Italian
Colonial Railcar page.
