Bypassed in 1909/1910 realignment of Donner line.

over Canyon Creek near Dutch Flat,CA.

9. DRGW #01442 is privately owned and located at the corner of
King Rd. and Brennans Rd. in Loomis.
10. Shingle Springs,CA depot.
11.& 12. UPFE reefers #452115 and 452145 privately owned at a fruit
ranch along Hwy 193 between Lincoln,CA and Newcastle,CA.

13. Western Pacific caboose #456 on display in Cherokee,CA.
14. Penryn,CA fire insurance map showing depot site. Section house still
stands as a private residence. As a side note, my great great grandfather Azor Page owned the depot and
surrounding property at some point.

31. South of San Andreas,CA, travelers on Hwy 49 pass under what appears to
be a railroad bridge built by the Calaveras Cement Co. Though built to railroad specifications as a proposed
extension of the SP Kentucky House Branch to a small quarry, this bridge never saw a train cross it, only trucks.

32.-34. Red Point Mine 0-4-0CA loco and mine cars at Foresthill,CA.
35. Just for fun, I also found this wooden caboose along the main drag
in Foresthill. Even the trucks, wheels and rail are wood.

36. The Southern Pacific section house still stands at Penryn,CA
as a private residence. (see map of Penryn above, photo #14)
37. Privately owned ex SP #119663 on Gold Hill Rd near Newcastle,CA.

near Auburn,CA. #39 is ex Southern Pacific.

41. This cut down boxcar turned bridge provides a private driveway
along Gold Hill Rd near Newcastle,CA.
42. Half of Triple 53' Long Runner TTEX #354069 has been turned into
a bridge along Latrobe Rd south of Latrobe,CA.
43. Mountain Ranch,CA is home to this reefer.
