Hello and welcome to Fordsville
Kentucky, home of the Fordsville L&N Depot Museum. We
invite you to visit with us, take a moment and walk back into the
early 1900's and see displays depicting the greatest era of
transportation and the economic boom it game this small town.
The Fordsville L&N Depot Museum houses valuable historical
items of interest not only for this community but all who visit.
Reminiscent of a traditional depot
ticket counter in the early 1900's at many of the L&N train stations
this museum is rich with railroad history. The ticket room has
been structured to appear as it did while in operation well over 60
years ago. |

The
Depot also proudly displays a unique collection of rural
lifestyle necessities and farming tools depicting how not only
Fordsville, but the communities near and far prospered during the
era of the steam locomotive. |
