"Lights of the Past" Phase One
Outdoor lights located on the Main Street side of the Depot Complex to illuminate the grounds and provide necessary electrical hookups for community events.  Special Thanks to the Home Depot Stores (Owensboro), Shirley Coppage the Project Coordinator and especially the community members who donated toward the project in memory of their loved ones.  CLICK HERE to view photos

Bleachers for Outdoor Theater/Classroom
Thanks to a grant from the Banks Family and the Ohio County Fiscal Court the Fordsville Historical Society was able to purchase several sets of aluminum outdoor bleachers for use in our ongoing Outdoor Theater/ Classroom Project.

  Outdoor Theater / Classroom
It is one of the goals of the Fordsville Historical Society to provide our community with a park like environment complete with an outdoor classroom / community theater space to encourage more community events.

Handicap Accessibility Project
Fordsville Historical Society is currently seeking assistance with retrofitting the museum for handicap accessibility.  It is the hope of the Society to provide better wheelchair access to the loading dock displays and smooth pats to the outdoor displays throughout the complex.

"Lights of the Past" Phase Two
Addition of lights along the Ridge Road side of the Museum Complex along with illumination of the Railroad Crossing Sign currently located on that side of the property.
