Hunterfield
Hunterfield is the 'down' end of the system, and its main functions are as a
destination point for major passenger and mail trains. It is also the industrial centre of
the layout. The main feature of this industrial landscape is a major coal mine. This mine
supplies the whole railway with coal, which is the main industry in the system.
Industries include:
- Coal
- General Freight
- Livestock, Milk.
- Petroleum
- Minerals

and petroleum facilities all taking heavy freight traffic. |
