Some pictures from set up which is done the night before the
children visit. Even though this is a relatively small layout, set up
takes a significant amount of time because of all the additional wiring required
for the numerous operating accessories. We have to "figure it out" every
time we set up since we change the display from year to year. The big
addition for 2005 was a new carnival scenery module. Set up took
roughly six hours with time out for supper. Once setup was completed the
Woodley Hills principal came by to inspect our handy work and try out the
operating accessories (see the last picture below).
