Shortly after the Idaho Northern & Pacific started operations, John Henderson followed a train
operating on the line north of Elgin. Power on this day was one of the GP-9s leased from Montana
Rail Link. These pictures well illustrate the scenery- and ruggedness- of the country through which
the Joseph Branch operated.
