Oregon California & Eastern slug #7606 in storage next to the Sycan shop. The OC&E had given up on the slugs by this point, and in a few weeks the Sycan shop crew will finish re-wiring Weyerhaeuser's new ex-BN GP-9's, allowing them to work with the slugs. The #7606 and #7607 will then go to work on the Woods railroad. Photo by and courtesy of Jimmy Bryant.
