Summer - Fall 2007 Season

This page was last updated: 11/27/2007

Background

The Chapter owns 3 Erie Lackawanna MU Cars. After having their traction motors and pantographs stripped, these cars were initially placed into K-4s services and in excursions in the following communities: Claysburg, East Freedom, Roaring Spring, and Martinsburg, PA.  They are once again being operated in Excursion Service in the Altoona, PA Area.  In conjunction with the overwhelming support by Alan Maples (Owner of the Everett Railroad) and of Alan Nevotney (General Manager, Everett Railroad), excursions will be conducted on the Everett Railroad system (not to include the Claysburg, PA branch).  Many trips are also run in conjunction with events sponsored by The Roaring Spring Historical Society.  All trips will originate at the Roaring Spring, PA Station.  (There will not be a Chapter Excursion trip during Railfest  as our members are needed for duties associated with Railfest.)  Watch for additional details as they become available.

Time Table
