One of our members has passed from us. Marv Nauman was a long time model railroader and collector. Marv was a tall and slender fellow, never afraid to speak his mind. His interests were in big trains - Standard Gauge and "G" scale. Marv had a portable layout that he took to shows to exhibit some of his big trains. Their impressive presence was obvious in contrast to the N and HO scale layouts that dominate in numbers but certainly not in their size. Marv loved to talk trains; he will be missed.

A closely related hobby is railfanning, following the activities of full size, aka prototype, railroads and their history. That's also fair game for this website.
