to the BARRIE
Winter Carnival
Sunday, February 16th
Ride the Way of the Worry-Free to the Barrie Winter Carnival. This year's Carnival, held on the ice of Kempenfelt Bay, promises to be the best ever, and the Canadian National is once again readying its only steam engine to haul a special train to Barrie on Sunday, February 16th. For the photo fan, or those who just want to watch old 6167 in full-throttle action, there will be two special stops for picture taking en route. To add to your enjoyment of the day, a budget-priced Cafeteria Car on the train will be serving piping hot refreshments and meals throughout the day. Why not plan now to set aside February 16th for an exciting day of steam trains and winter sports!
