Restoration Journal - April 16, 2012 Work On 6167 Resumes In 2012 Photos by Grant Kingsland Last year work on 6167 was disrupted when one of the agencies connected to the project erected a fence only several inches away from the left side of the engine, which made it impossible for work to be done on that side. After several months of discussions, the fence has been temporarily taken down which will now allow work on the engine to continue. The first work day of the year saw some of the appliances which have been stored on site get moved around in preparation for reattachment to the locomotive.
