The Class 4000 BigBoys had one of the largest boilers on the rails. Measuring approximately 68' 5" in length, they utilized 300 psi during normal operating conditions. The boiler tubes were 22' 2" in length by 4" in diameter, some of the largest used in the Union Pacific's entire fleet!
