Something we got to see that no other visitor gets
to, actual switching. Our engine detached and picked up that crane
car as well as the tanker and did a photo run by. What a sight.
Taking on water on the way up to Bald Mountain.
The wye reverse trackage just south of Bald Mountain.
Here you can really see engine #11, the coal burner,
struggling up the 11% grade enroute to Bald Mountain.
